CASA Program

Our mission is to provide a strong Montessori foundation that enables our students to achieve their full potential, develop curiosity, creativity, and imagination, and become responsible citizens of the world. While children in who attend our K – 8 School and IMHS (High School) apply through a lottery system, IMO also offers a private, tuition based Casa program for children between the ages of two and a half and four. Children must be fully toilet trained to participate in the Casa program, and a parent interview and student classroom visit are part of the  application process

Mission and Philosophy

Our mission is to provide a strong Montessori foundation that enables our students to achieve their full potential, develop curiosity, creativity, and imagination, and become responsible citizens of the world. We aim to provide an authentic Montessori education in our Casa Program, which serves children ages two and a half to four. The Montessori Method of education, developed by Dr. Maria Montessori, is a child-centered educational approach based on her scientific observations of children. She developed the planes of development (from birth to adulthood), which are used to group children for the purpose of providing the best learning environment. The Montessori Method has been used for more than a century and has been adopted by diverse cultures throughout the world. The Montessori Method fosters independence, responsibility, respect and competency. Students receive interest-based lessons and may work in small groups or individually.

Tuition Based Program

While our K – 8 school and high school are a public charter, our 3 and 4 year old Casa Program is a private, tuition based program. Tuition for 10 months is $8750, and may be paid in lump sum, two split payments or on a monthly basis. We do accept VPK vouchers for students who are 4 by September 1st. While we have yet to be advised what the voucher credit will be for the 2019-2020 school year, last year it was worth approximately $250 per month. Students in the VPK program must adhere to strict attendance guidelines.

Visit Our School

Want to learn more about what makes the Montessori experience so unique? Ready to apply and want to get a real feel for the magic that happens in our classrooms? Newly accepted and interested in getting your questions answered about what your child’s day will soon be like?

We welcome you to begin the first step by attending a school tour and then completing our student application form. Our school is an alternative instructional model school with very specific educational practices. We highly recommend you schedule a tour before completing an application. Tours are available October through May.

Montessori is a very specific educational philosophy, and we feel that it’s important for interested families to explore if Montessori is a good fit for them, before applying to join our community.

One of the best ways to do this is through touring our school. Tours are for adults only and are held at scheduled times throughout the year. Touring space is limited and participants must reserve a space to attend. Please use these links to sign up for a tour:

These school tours will take place at our Ocoee campus location: 1610 N. Lakewood Ave. Ocoee, FL 34761
